Welcome to the Internationale Bauausstellung Fürst-Pückler-Land!

From 2000 to 2010 the Internationale Bauausstellung (IBA) Fürst-Pückler-Land takes place in Lusatia (Brandenburg). It is far more than an ordinary exhibition – it is a future-oriented programme for the former mining region. Through 25 exemplary projects, IBA gives economical, creative and ecological impulses for the required structural change. The logo "see" refers to the Lusatian Lakeland, which is being created here (See = German for "lake") – and, at the same time, invites you to "see" the region with new eyes.

You are welcome at the IBA Terraces

In the visitor centre of the IBA and the Lusatian Lakeland you can find much information about the landscape in change and its prospects. Exhibitions and diffrent events take place at the IBA Terraces throughout the whole year. In addition lots of tours into the bizarre open-cast mine landscape and the future seascape start at the Terraces. Experience the Lusatian lakeland and the spectacularly IBA-projects now!
